Join us on March 28th at 10:00 AM at the Lake Bomoseen Lodge & Taproom for the annual Freezin’ For a Reason Polar Plunge\, a fun-filled community event benefiting Shriners Hospitals for Children. \nFreezin’ For a Reason Polar Plunge Event Details\nHosted by the Cairo Shriners\, this exciting event invites participants of all ages—from kids to seasoned plungers—to take a bold leap into the chilly waters of Lake Bomoseen. Whether you're an individual\, part of a team\, or representing a local business\, everyone is welcome to join in on the fun and support an incredible cause. A $20 participation fee goes directly toward helping provide life-changing care for children in need. \nThe day begins with registration and check-in at 10:00 AM inside the Lodge and Taproom\, where participants can gather\, get organized\, and soak in the pre-plunge excitement. When it’s time\, plungers will make their way across the street to the lake for the main event—an unforgettable (and very brisk!) dip into Lake Bomoseen. \nParticipants are encouraged to show off their creativity with costumes\, team themes\, or fun accessories—spirit and enthusiasm are a big part of what makes this event so special.
