Yes, it is our company policy that the driver/renter of the boat has a boating license.
That is correct if you were driving your own boat, but it is our company policy that every renter has a boating license/ safety certificate to rent a boat from us.
Don’t have a boating license or safety certificate? We have you covered. For everyone that is over the age of 24 and wishes to drive the boat needs to complete the online course. While the course may say you are grandfathered in, it is Woodard Marine policy that anyone that wished to drive our boats must have taken the safety boating course. Please select the state you live in and complete the course. This will meet our company policy in having a boating license.
Get licensed in your state
100% refund up to 7 days (168 hours) prior to the start of the contracted reservation date. Customer may also choose to rebook reservation (pending availability) for the same season and year at no charge for rebooking.
3 days to 6 days (72-144 hours) prior to the start of the contracted reservation date, customer will receive a refund minus $100 cancellation fee. Customer may also choose to rebook reservation (pending availability) for the same season and year at no charge for rebooking.
2 days (48 hours) or less prior to the start of the contracted reservation date, customer may cancel, however they will forfeit their reservation deposit/payment to date with no refund or have the option to rebook for a $75 rebook fee for the same year and season as reservation booking.
Additional Cancellation policy notes: A no show or failure to start will result in 100% forfeiture of any funds received and is not eligible for rebooking.
Communication requirements for refund / re-booking policy: Email is required for cancellation request, and the time stamp of the email received date to firstname.lastname@example.org is the date and time stamp used for the request for refund / rebooking policy. We also encourage a follow up phone call or email (802-265-3690 ext 7), however the email request is the only form of communication accepted for cancellation or rebooking.
