Step into a welcoming, hands-on experience where creativity and nature come together in perfect harmony. Pottery, Painting & Planting is a thoughtfully curated two-part workshop designed to inspire, relax, and reconnect you with the simple joy of making something beautiful. Whether you’re looking to explore a new creative outlet or spend meaningful time with friends, this experience offers the perfect blend of artistry and calm.
The journey begins with the artistic heart of Pottery, Painting & Planting. In this first session, you’ll be guided through painting your very own handcrafted pottery planter alongside local potter Vanessa Aprilliano of To the Brim. Each piece is carefully made and ready for your personal touch.
Once completed, your planter will be taken back to Vanessa’s studio where it will be professionally clear glazed and kiln-fired. This process transforms your design into a polished, durable piece that is not only beautiful but fully functional—something you’ll be proud to use and display.
The following Sunday, Pottery, Painting & Planting continues as you return to complete your creation. During this relaxed and social second session, you’ll pot a small indoor houseplant cutting into your finished planter. With guided instruction and all materials provided, this portion of the workshop is both easy and rewarding.
This session is intentionally slower-paced—giving you time to unwind, connect with others, and enjoy the simple act of working with your hands. Light snacks will be available, and beverages (including wine, beer, tea, coffee, and seltzers) can be purchased to enhance the experience.
Pottery, Painting & Planting is more than just a workshop—it’s an opportunity to create something lasting. By the end, you’ll leave with a custom-painted, kiln-fired planter and a thriving houseplant ready to grow in your space. More than that, you’ll carry with you the experience of slowing down, being creative, and sharing in a warm, welcoming environment.

Note: Teens are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult for both sessions.
