Art in the Park

Celebrate Vermont's thriving arts community during the Annual Art in the Park Summer Festival, taking place Saturday, August 8, and Sunday, August 9 at Main Street Park in downtown Rutland. Hosted by the Chaffee Art Center, this beloved annual tradition transforms the park into an outdoor gallery filled with talented artists, handcrafted goods, live entertainment, delicious food, and activities for the whole family.

Art in the Park features more than 70 artists and craftspeople showcasing original paintings, photography, pottery, jewelry, woodworking, fiber arts, glasswork, sculpture, and much more. Every exhibitor offers handcrafted, one-of-a-kind work, making this the perfect place to find a unique gift or add something special to your own collection.

Many artists also demonstrate their craft throughout the weekend, giving visitors the opportunity to watch creativity in action and learn more about the techniques behind their work.
