Put your knowledge to the test and join the Poultney Historical Society for an engaging and entertaining History Buff Trivia event on Saturday, May 9, 2026. Whether you’re a seasoned trivia enthusiast or simply enjoy a good challenge, this lively afternoon promises a fun mix of learning, friendly competition, and community spirit.
The event will take place at the Poultney Pub, with doors opening at 12:00 PM and trivia beginning promptly at 12:30 PM. Gather your friends, family, or fellow history lovers and form a team of 2–4 participants.
Teams will tackle a wide range of questions covering Vermont history, U.S. history, and cultural milestones that have shaped our nation. From local lore to national landmarks, this is your chance to show off what you know—or learn something new along the way.
A cash prize will be awarded to the winning team, along with additional prizes to keep the competition exciting.
A suggested donation of $10 per team helps support the ongoing work of the Poultney Historical Society in preserving and celebrating our community’s rich heritage.
The Poultney Pub will offer a full menu and cash bar throughout trivia, so you can relax, enjoy great food and drinks, and soak in the atmosphere.
