The festivities begin with the annual Woodard Marine Boat Parade on Saturday, July 4, 2026.

Starting Location: Southern Channel, Lake Bomoseen
Boat owners are encouraged to decorate their vessels and join the parade as it travels around the lake. Spectators can enjoy the procession from their boats or from shoreline locations around Lake Bomoseen.

As the sun sets, the celebration continues with a fireworks display.

The fireworks are one of the highlights of the holiday weekend, drawing spectators from across the region. The display can be viewed from boats on the lake, the Green Dump area, and numerous shoreline locations surrounding Lake Bomoseen.

The boat parade can be viewed from various locations around Lake Bomoseen, including shoreline properties, public viewing areas, and from the water.
